Macaron-A-Day # 9: Caramel Fleur de Sel

This was a very subtle macaron. Definitely a lovely caramel flavour, but not nearly as strong as the actual caramels which I ate afterwards.

And if the title was referring to your pictures, try a book called "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson, you should be able to pick it up for less than $20, and it is full of really useful information.

Not sure if there's a french translated version - I've not had much need for it!

ooh yummers! i do seem to remember that the europeans have a much better handle on caramels than we aussies :o)
